Chinese Chess

12/26/10
I won my first game today with the help of both my "jooks" (Rooks)

Allen. 1-11

Dad. 10-1

The Giver,

what a great great book. All people should read it. The world would be a better place if so. Because we would not have all these talks about life being fair. If so, then we would all be the same. And "sameness" is the root of all evil within the community.

Ah, at the end when Jonas ventures into uncharted territories, beyond the fields of the community. I too longed for that escape....

Alright. This was the longest week ever. I worked for four days. MAN AND I THOUGHT IT WAS TOUGH?! I am a pussy. =(

So what I really want to write about its this:

I had a crazy dream during my nap.
I saw this movie
It was amazing.
It was about The Kraken!
A cruise ship was sailing out to sea,
when all of a sudden they encounter this octopus monster!
It had tentacles that would rip the faces off its victims
and nothing was going to stop this beat from ripping the ship in half,
let alone crushing the heads of the passengers into a blood pulp,
as if Arnold Swarsinagier were to squish a tomato in his hands,
the Kraken would crush 8 skulls with its bone-breaking arms.
All was in chaos and anarchy on the ship
"Who will save us?!"
Then came a man in a suit.
This wasn't just any man,
with any old suit.
He had on a white suit,
that glimmered against the crashing waves of the unforgiving sea.
This man was unknown.
He was not a passenger
nor a crew member.
But none was the wiser to noticed his presence during a life and death situation like this.
To be attacked by a mythical creature of the sea is popsterious!

The man casually equipped blue gloves, ones designed for extra gripping power.
And pulled unbuttoned his white coat jacket
to reveal a blade.
Not just any blade.
A red left handed box-cutter.
Yes, with only a box-cutter at hand.
He dived head first into the mouth of the Kraken,
into the darkness which dwells in the bottomless depths of the sea.
To say the lives of many.
Or just to bring some excitement to his life.
One this is for sure.
The ship did make it back to port.
Right on schedule to be exact.
but no one did know what happened to this man.
Some say the Kraken swallowed him whole, and that he was enough to fill his hunger.
Yet others asked,
"Who are you talking about? I was ducking for cover trying not to get my head squished like a tomato!"
No one really knows the true story of this.
For it was only a dream.

Is going on Facebook Sinful?

or maybe I just can't help myself. But each time I go on. I seem to go browsing for girl's pictures (occasionally). No, I am not a pervert (but a pervert will never admit that he is a pervert). =) so anyways. I am now wondering who reads these posts. No wonder people don't want to reply to me on Facebook. They must already think I am a Kook here on Blogger. But I feel as free as can be on here because I can secretly write stuff and NOT POST IT UP. So not everyone knows the whole story...

Well, might as well start. I already have your attention.

2:30 am

"Go Go Power Rangers!"
"Duh NAH NUH nuh"
"Go Go Power Rangers, you mighty morphen Power Rangerrrrs."

(I need a new alarm tone)

(Ah well, I'm doing better today. Time to stretch and start the day.)

I put on my uniform, equip my marker and boxcutter in my left butt pocket, grab my keys and head for the door. I notice that my roommates lights are still on.

(Well, at least someone is still awake I can say goodnight to.)
"Goodnight Andrew."
"Bye."

I head to the living room for my Bible and read my morning revelation for the day. (Romans 12)
(Ah, good message. Now I am ready to start my day)

I grab my packed lunch from the kitchen.
"Bye Tokyo."
"woof: Thanks for waking me up, Bye."

And I head out into the drizzling dusk.
(Alright, cool just enough gas to get me to work.)

2:52 AM.
I put the Honda Civic in reverse and back out.

(Cool, 8 minutes. 5 minutes to spare.)

Dear,

I don't know how to explain myself these days. I feel as though I am wondering through space and time. School is over and my life has came to a halt. All there is now to do is Work Work Work and work. I am almost at the end of this all, I hope. It's not as bad as it seems. You get used to it. But everyday is an internal struggle. Today I got the better of myself and hopefully tomorrow I can do the same. Why is it so that when you have no one to talk to, you start to talk to yourself? Can't the mind just stay fixated to one spot. Just for a few hours at least. I can't control my wondering mind sometimes. And it takes me to far distant lands. Places where I haven't seen in years and places where I just don't to ever look at again. Wow it makes you think how long life really is. It is malleable yet permanent at the same time. You can change a lot but you can't change much. It is very extraordinary. yet extravagant all wrapped up in a bow. And that is life. This present that you didn't ask for. But you opened it and IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT WAS EVER GIVEN!... because you get mad at it. and you love it. and you just can't describe it.... that is it. Life. O speaking of which I guess I am not the great writer that my ego thought I was. Which will make this a better Underdog Story.

Alright!

I am ready now!
The semester is over,
Time to sit back,
And let Life,
take a lesson from Me,
for a change.
