The Judges Jury
Its it AYE! or is it NAH. Judges was written in 1300BCE during the time of the Decnondromiaic Scool of Writing. The writers have written the book of Judges to preserve their historical battles and expand thier view of monarchy.
The writers show their ambivalent view of monarchy throughout the book of Judges. The expression in those days was that there was no king, in Israel; every man did what was right in “his own eyes” (Judges 17.6; 18.1; 19.1; 21.25). It is shown as being positive and negative. In story of Gideon a bright light shines upon thou matter, “I will not rule over you, and my sons will not rule over you; the Lord will rule over you.” This brings a positive light to the expression of self-rule in the book of Judges. The Hewbrews believed that God was the only one worthy to rule the people of Israel. They diddn’t want to have a centralized monarchal government All their lives they have been driftin g into the desert. No place to call giyali.
Coincidentally, the writers also felt different way about self-rule. In the story of Ephraim and his concubine, the theme of self-rule is under a different tone. The angry mob roared in an upheap of crackling fire that one dark dreary night. They was self-ruled with the iron steel brozen clubs; and tore Ephraim’s concubine a new one, so much that she died. This is under the law of no king = no central power = a result of self-rule. This story was at the very end of the book of Judges which may have lead to a political construction of a central government, and perhaps to the kingdom of Saul later in tenth centery.

Today was a good day.
I just worked on math for a while
And now I am going to write write write
What do I think about causing violence against someone.
Violence is a negative thing
When has violence ever produced happiness on both sides?
Violence has only made life worse and people to sufferage.
Violence
Violence
Violence
Blah
Blah
Blah
So
What is it now
I need some newness
Some inspiration
A blank new start
On this concept about violence
What Do I believe violence is
Violence is a heinous act that causes nothing but pain and grief to its victims leaving a statistic smile in the hearts of the heartless.
Violence is the key that we all love to hate….
Nothing appeals us as much as to sex and violence
Without it we believe our stories and movie would be dull and mundane.
And throughout history of time, violence has stolen the spotlight again and again from Roman stages to the Renaissance circles and now to the big screen.
Revenge is in our nature.
Revenge is in human nature.
We all want justice.
We all want fairness
We want balance in life.
And when the cards are against us, and when we are backed up against the wall. We want to fight back, we want to push back. If we don’t, and we allow the scale to be tipped, we feel helpless, stripped from dignity and separated from righteousness.
I believe that violence should always be used as very last resorts only in the most sever circumstances in all of existences.
